68th Annual Golden Globe Awards Red Carpet Fashion

Fashion

The stars came out in their best (and worst) at this year’s Golden Globe Awards at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles.

Pale peaches, pinks and nudes seemed to be the order of the day when it came to the ladies’ choice of colour at the 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards.

The pale look was sported by recently divorced stars Scarlett Johansson and Sandra Bullock, as well as Anne Hathaway, Easy A’s Emma Stone, Glee’s Lea Michele, Transformers star Megan Fox, Blue Valentine star Michelle Williams and newly engaged and pregnant Natalie Portman, who went on to win the Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama award for her role in the psychological thriller Black Swan.

Black also featured prominently at the awards, with recent divorcee Eva Longoria, Jane Fonda and Halle Berry all opting for sexy black numbers.

Green also made an appearance, with stars Angelina Jolie and Catherine Zeta-Jones – whose husband Michael Douglas has recently been battling throat cancer – both going green at the awards.

The gong for the weirdest outfit of the night went hands-down to Helena Bonham Carter. The Alice in Wonderland star attracted more than a fair share of gasps from the crowd for her daring look, which consisted of a Vivienne Westwood shock frock, bird’s nest hairdo and mismatched shoes. But we reckon she deserves full marks in the fashion grade-book for daring to be different and being a welcome relief from the usual over-styled and over-glam looks on the red carpet.

We’ll let you be the judge. Here is a round-up of this year’s Golden Globe Awards fashion:

Why only the picture of Anne Hathaway? Why can we not see all the other dresses or gowns? I don’t “get” your website. I don’t mean to be rude, but thanks for nothing – I’ve SEEN Anne’s gown, and while beautiful, I’d also like to see the others. I thought this was an article about ALL the gowns – good and bad, however, no matter what I do, I can’t see any other dresses besides the one of Anne Hathaway. The article states “good and bad,” well, where are all the other gowns? Please let me know. Thanks for your time and courtesy. Until I hear from you, I doubt I’ll EVER log on to “letitflow.com” again as it’s soooo limited. Thanks for bothering to read this email. Best, Snowy

Mila Kunis also wore a green dress, which made at least one best dressed list.
