Going back to the drawing board to create a car faster than their 407kph (253mph) GT9 (as if that wasn’t fast enough!), the engineers at German Porsche tuning company 9ff are working on a more powerful version of the GT9 – the GT9R.
This new version of the GT9 sports a new rear wing, an updated front bumper and splitter, new wheel well extractors, plus a side mounted exhaust system. It is expected to topple the SSC Ultimate Aero TT’s top speed of 411kph (255mph), which would make it the title holder of the world’s fastest car.
The vehicle is set to boast 1120 horsepower with a top speed in excess of 414 kph (257mph). Its torque will clock in at 1050 Nm, translating to a zero – 100kph time of a lightning speed 2.9 seconds.
Only 20 examples of the supercar are being built for collectors worldwide, which also ranks it as one of the most exclusive vehicles on the planet. The prototype for the record-breaking vehicle has just been listed for sale by 9ff on JamesList.com for a whopping €823,529.
