A EuroMillions lottery draw on Friday night is set to create a world record breaking 100 millionaires in the UK, with an estimated jackpot of £105 million.
Lottery ticket sales are expected to soar to around three million per hour on the day of the draw, and the lottery’s organisers have cautioned players to get in early for their chance to become a millionaire overnight, according to the UK Press Association.

Macau casino operator Melco Crown Entertainment and Philippine property developer Belle Corp have signed a “memorandum of agreement” to develop a $1 billion casino resort in Manila.
Under the agreement, Melco, owned by Australian billionaire James Packer and Hong Kong businessman Lawrence Ho, and Belle, owned by the Philippines’ richest man Henry Sy, will jointly develop and manage the 100-hectare casino resort in Manila’s gaming hub at Aseana Boulevard in Parañaque City, according to Reuters.

Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa, Florida has become the world’s sixth-largest casino after completing a $75 million expansion.
The casino has now also become larger than any in Las Vegas, with its casino floor now bigger than five football fields combined and featuring over 5,000 slot machines, 110 table games and 50 poker tables.

Casino magnate Steve Wynn has come forward as the previously anonymous casino owner who donated a total of $2 million – $500 to 4000 needy families – to a Nevada-based charity over recent months.
Steve Wynn’s donation is the largest donation the United Way of Southern Nevada has ever received, according to the Associated Press.

The Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas is planning a $50 million upgrade to “re-energise” its celebrity pull factor, according to the Associated Press.
Commencing in July 2012, all 428 rooms and suites in the original Palms Tower will be renovated to reflect a “sensual and edgy” design, casino resort president Joseph Magliarditi stated.
