Rapper Eminem is leading the charge of nominees for the 2011 Grammy Awards, with 10 nominations.
The 38-year-old has been nominated for all of the major awards, including Album Of The Year for Recovery, which has already sold more than four million copies worldwide, and both Song Of The Year and Record Of The Year for Love The Way You Lie, which features Rihanna.
Bruno Mars came second on the list with seven nominations, while Lady Gaga, Jay-Z and country stars Lady Antebellum each received six nominations.
The nominees for Best New Artist went to teen sensation Justin Bieber, Drake, Esperanza Spalding and British acts Florence & The Machine and Mumford & Sons.
“Wow, it feels amazing. I can’t believe I’m in this position,” Bieber said after news of his nomination. “I don’t think of myself as a superstar. I think of myself as a normal person living my dream.”
Others on the nominees list included the cast of Glee, which earned two nominations, as did Bieber, while Katy Perry and Rihanna both walked away with four nominations and Beyoncé received two.
The nominations were announced during an hour-long televised event in Los Angeles on Wednesday night, which featured performances from several nominees.
The 53rd annual Grammy Awards will take place at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles on February 13, 2011.
