It’s been at the development stage, strongly hinted at, confirmed by director Barry Sonnenfeld and now it’s finally locked in: Men In Black 3, which will be shot in 3D, is set to arrive in theatres on May 25, 2012.
Sony is reportedly preparing to announce that the original stars of the science-fiction franchise, Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones, have confirmed contracts to reprise their role as Agents Jay and Kay, and newcomer Josh Brolin is also in final negotiations to sign on as a younger version of Kay.

The red carpet premiere of the long-awaited third instalment of the Twilight saga, Eclipse, is set for June 24 at the Nokia Theatre as part of the Los Angeles Film Festival.

Fans of the action/drama television series 24 can breathe a sigh of relief after actor Kiefer Sutherland revealed that a 24 movie franchise will be launched now that the hit series has been axed.
The 43-year-old actor confirmed that a feature film and sequels are currently in the works, with the first taking Sutherland’s character Jack Bauer outside of the US.

The Hurt Locker director Kathryn Bigelow has made history at this year’s Oscars, becoming the first woman to win an Academy Award for best director. Her film has also been named Best Picture.
Bigelow’s film follows the dangerous daily existence of a US Army bomb squad. It earned six Oscars in total on the night, including one for Mark Boal’s original screenplay, which was based on his time as a journalist embedded with such a unit.
“There is no other way to describe it – it’s the moment of a lifetime,” Bigelow said.

They took to the green carpet – replacing the traditional red – in London’s Leicester Square amid hordes of screaming fans.

After over a year of speculation, one of Hollywood’s worst kept secrets has finally been revealed, as Twilight heartthrob Robert Pattinson confirms that he is dating his co-star Kristen Stewart.
Star of the Twilight film franchise, Pattinson, 23, who has previously been intensely sercretive about his private life, confessed he and his co-star Stewart, 19, were an item at a dinner held after the BAFTA Awards on Sunday.

Valentine – 2001
Valentine is a “‘who done it?” movie that will keep you entertained with murder, mystery, and mayhem. The characters in this film receive morbid Valentine’s Day cards containing death threats from a deranged killer, plus chocolates filled with maggots! You definitely won’t have romance on your mind after watching this one.
The Silence of the Lambs - 1991
“To enter the mind of a killer, she must challenge the mind of a madman”. Some subtle hints at romance here between the likes of the courteous yet psychotic Dr Hannibal Lecter and the vulnerable FBI trainee Clarice Starling. But any thought of lovey-doveyness between the cannibal and the FBI trainee is quickly dismissed by the vicious “Buffalo Bill”, who is on a mission to create a “woman suit” by starving, killing and skinning overweight women.
A Nightmare on Elm Street - 1984
Ok, so this one’s got absolutely nothing to do with Valentine’s Day, but that just makes it all the more perfect for blocking out the choking soppiness outside. Freddy Krueger is sure to slash the romance out of Valentine’s Day as he goes on an unadulterated killing spree, tormenting a group of teenagers in their sleep.

Sci-fi epic Avatar and war saga The Hurt Locker earned a leading nine Oscar nominations at Tuesday morning’s press conference announcing the 2010 Academy Award nominees.
Both films are up for Best Film and Best Director in a race that will see Academy awards veteran James Cameron face off against ex-wife Kathryn Bigelow.
For the first time, the Oscars will feature 10 Best Picture contenders instead of the usual five.
Other movies contending for the 2010 Best Picture statue include: Up in the Air, The Blind Side, Precious: Based on the Novel ‘Push’ by Sapphire, District 9, Up, A Serious Man, Inglourious Basterds, and An Education.
