While the new Duke and Duchess of Cambridge – Prince William and Kate Middleton – were taken away by helicopter to a secret weekend getaway, Clarence House released three official royal wedding photos.

The photos were taken by Hugo Burnand in the Throne Room of Buckingham Palace on Friday afternoon – shortly after the royal wedding ceremony.

A confirmed guest list for today’s royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton at Westminster Abbey has been revealed by Clarence House.

Among the Sirs, Ladies, Dukes, Kings, Queens and Prime Ministers invited to attend the wedding ceremony are also a host of celebrities, including singer Joss Stone, director Guy Ritchie, Elton John and David and Victoria Beckham.

For the seventh consecutive year, English Premier League football team Manchester United has reached the number one spot on Forbes’ list of the world’s most valuable football teams, with a value of $1.86 billion.

Real Madrid took the number two spot with a value of $1.45 billion, followed by Arsenal at $1.19 billion; Bayern Munich at $1.1 billion; and Barcelona, which dropped one spot to number five on the list, with a value of $975 million.
