Friday’s EuroMillions draw saw the jackpot rollover for a 10th time to a massive £110 million - one of the biggest jackpots in EuroMillions history.
The odds of scooping the huge prize is 1 in 116,531,800.
Previous winners, Colin and Chris Weir from Scotland, scooped an incredible £161 million last month in EuroMillions’ biggest-ever jackpot after a series of rollovers.
Another record jackpot lottery prize was won last week, with the winner of China’s biggest-ever lottery prize claiming 565 million yuan (US $88.5 million).
In 2006, eight workers from a ham processing plant in Nebraska, USA, won the biggest US lottery prize in history, splitting a record $365 million jackpot between them.
But perhaps the luckiest example of beating the odds is Mike McDermott, who beat astounding odds of 5 trillion to 1 by winning the lottery for a second time with the same numbers. In June, McDermott scooped £194,501 – he then won £121,157 with the same numbers last weekend.
The £110 million jackpot prize will be up for grabs in Tuesday’s EuroMillions draw.
