American actress Mia Farrow took to the stand on Monday in the war-crimes trial of former Liberian president Charles Taylor and disputed supermodel Naomi Cambell’s sworn testimony about whether so-called “blood diamonds” Campbell received as a gift more than a decade ago had come from the warlord.
Campbell, 40, admitted last week to the UN war crimes court that she received uncut stones from two men in South Africa in 1997, but claimed she didn’t know they were diamonds or that they were linked to Mr Taylor, who is indicted by the UN for war crimes for his role in supporting brutal rebels in Sierra Leone’s civil war between 1996 and 2002.

British retailer Marks and Spencer (M&S) has announced that they are creating a men’s underwear line inspired by Twilight star Robert Pattinson, who is known by fans as R-Patz.
Aptly called the R-Pant, the vampire-inspired slim-fit underwear collection of low-rise briefs and trunks are designed to be worn under skinny jeans and trousers, a look made famous by the likes of Katy Perry’s man Russell Brand and, of course, the man himself, R-Patz.

The world’s most expensive men’s suit is set to go on sale for almost £600,000 in what has been billed as the “ultimate in luxury fashion”, according to its British designer.
The custom-made suit, made with cashmere wool, silk and diamonds, took more than 600 hours to produce.

A diamond auction in Switzerland has set a new record price per carat, with a blue, cushion-shaped 7.64 carat stone fetching 8.93 million Swiss francs.
The flawless diamond, mounted in a yellow gold and platinum ring, was sold to an anonymous buyer who paid double the pre-sale estimate.
