Actor Jim Carrey has just listed his amazing Malibu ocean-front home on the market for sale for $13.95 million.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Carrey bought the 2,866-square-foot home 10 years ago for $9.75 million.
The stunning home, with panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, is located in Malibu Colony, a gated community riddled with multi-million-dollar homes of celebrities including Tom Hanks, Jason Statham, and Leonardo DiCaprio.
The five-bedroom home features five-and-a-half bathrooms, a second-floor master suite overlooking the ocean, a bed-and-bath suite for staff, an open-plan living room leading out to a terrace with adjustable privacy walls, a dining room with built-in buffet, a top-of-the-range kitchen, a family room with a built-in flat screen and a rooftop deck with a spa.
It also boasts an outdoor entertaining area complete with a barbecue, surfboard racks and an abundance of lounging space.
Jim Carrey certainly won’t be left homeless after selling his beach house though – he’s got two adjacent properties in Brentwood, LA, and has also been apartment hunting in Manhattan and Brooklyn.
