A £100,000 Range Rover has had a makeover in the style of a Louis Vuitton handbag.
The Overfinch Range Rover’s entire body is covered with the French fashion house’s famous LV pattern in brown and gold, the Daily Record reported.
The show-stopping off-roader also features a shocking pink and white stripe with the owner’s initials – NJH.
But while some may see the vehicle as having had a luxury makeover, it’s not everyone’s cup of tea for those in the wealthy suburb of Westbourne in England. A passer-by said: “It is the most hideous thing I have ever seen and it has been done to what was such a classy car.
“I am not sure even Katie Price would go that far.”
The eye-catching finish was created using a vehicle wrap printed with the iconic LV logo. The wrap is effectively a sticker – which means the owner can customise their car temporarily, without damaging the paint job.
According to MailOnline, an expert said simple matt coating costs around £2,000 to add to a car, but something like this more intricate coating would cost somewhere between £3,000 to £3,500.
The Range Rover vehicle itself had been modified by Overfinch, whose customers include Wayne and Coleen Rooney, Steven Gerrard and Tamara Ecclestone, daughter of Formula One boss Bernie Ecclestone.
Coleen Rooney is reportedly the proud owner of three Overfinch Range Rovers. Her most recent purchase, a silver Overfinch Range Rover Sport GTS, set her back £114,829 when she bought it last year. She also has a £95,000 black Overfinch TVD8 and a simpler £80,000 model.
