Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tampa, Florida has become the world’s sixth-largest casino after completing a $75 million expansion.
The casino has now also become larger than any in Las Vegas, with its casino floor now bigger than five football fields combined and featuring over 5,000 slot machines, 110 table games and 50 poker tables.
Part of the expansion works included an enclosed smoke-free slot room with 70 machines, a new pool area and tropical landscaping.
Players can now enjoy views of the pool area and tropical landscaping from within the casino, with natural light provided in limited areas of the casino, allowing players the ability to appreciate Florida’s summer sun while enjoying the entertainment on offer.
“A construction project of this magnitude was only made possible because of our incredible team members, business partners and our guests, who patiently waited for us to create what they’ve been asking for: more space, more dining options and ultimately more of what they wanted and needed,” said John Fontana, president of Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Tampa.View Comments
