Round two in spring must-haves. This time we focus on items for the man. We’ve found some styles, accessories and outfits that should make any guy the hit of the streets this spring.
1. The Pilot Watch
Chunky and manly; big watches are still in and this handsome piece from IWC has that extra bit of edge to get the imagination running. We’re thinking hot pilot stepping out of a helicopter, squinting into the horizon with wind in his hair. IWC
2. The Boat Shoe
The Boat Shoe is back with a twist! It’s probably been hard to miss the neon-hype and it hasn’t skipped the men’s shoes. Don’t be afraid to mismatch colours either – these will go with just about anything. Sperry
3. The Preppy Bad Boy
Dress a bearded, tattooed man (sleeves and hands for extra effect) in a skinny suit – preferably with a vest and tie or bow tie –and throw on some Classic Ray-Ban’s. The men will be jealous and the women will drool. Justin O’Shea has got the look down. Ray-Ban
4. The Beard
Yes, the beard trend seems to be here to stay. Make sure to keep it nicely trimmed though, and give it a helping hand and a fresh smell with MCMC’s beard oil. All natural too! MCMC
5. The Glasses
Round framed glasses are all the rage now. Think Harry Potter, Gregory Peck, Johnny Depp – or even Sigmund Freud! – when choosing specks. We like these tortoiseshell ones from Selima Optique named after Ron Rifkin who they were originally designed for. Selima Optique
6. The Trouser
Give your legs a bit or air-con on warm days! The cutoff is the slightly too short (or rolled up) brightly coloured trouser or jean. Why not try these red ones from Danish brand HUMÖR?
7. The Bag
Baron’s Retro collection features the work briefcase in a variety of ways, as well as fantastic overnight/weekend bags. All of their bags are made from leather and have that luxurious vintage feel to them. Take your pick! BaronView Comments
