The Sultan of Brunei is famous for being a bit of a revhead.
According to Guinness World Records, the Sultan’s private car collection includes more than 600 Rolls-Royces, more than 450 Ferraris, and 134 Koenigseggs, making it the largest collection of that marque in the world.
Now, you can claim a piece of the Sultan’s luxury car collection all for your very own. The Sultan’s Ferrari F50 is up for sale on luxury marketplace website JamesList.com.
The asking price? Well, that hasn’t been disclosed, but being one of only two right-hand-drive factory-built Ferrari F50s in existence, it’s likely that this slice of automotive indulgence will set you back at around about the million-dollar range.
The F50 up for sale was produced in 1996 for the Sultan of Brunei and has covered less than 5000 miles from new. The car is listed as having been built to full EU type approval specification and being in near concours condition. It is described in the listing as “arguably one of the rarest and greatest of road cars Ferrari has produced. It will make a fine centre-piece to any Ferrari collection.”
So, while your claim to fame may not be that you’re one of the richest people in the world, you can at least boast that you own a car fit for one!
