Zlatan Ibrahimovic it set to become the world’s most expensive player in football history after French Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG)’s £51 million joint bid for the AC Milan striker and Brazil defender Thialgo Silva.
According to Daily Mail, the 27-year-old Brazilian is likely to decline the transfer offer, but if the £32 million part of the bid belonging to Ibrahimovic goes ahead, it would mean the 30-year-old Swede would become the world’s most expensive footballer, at a total cost of almost £150 million in transfer fees.

After weeks of negotiation, Liverpool FC have finally agreed on a €26.5 million fee with Dutch club Ajax to sign Uruguayan striker Luis Suárez.
The deal is subject to Suárez passing a medical and agreeing personal terms with the English Premier League club.
