The iconic white dress worn by Marilyn Monroe in the 1955 film The Seven Year Itch has sold for a staggering $4.6 million at an auction in Los Angeles.
The dress was part of a collection of film memorabilia which actress Debbie Reynolds had collected over four decades.

Dame Elizabeth Taylor’s estate has gone up for sale for US$8.6 million.
The Oscar-winning actress – who passed away from congestive heart failure in March at the age of 79 – lived in the 1960s ranch-style house in Bel Air, California, for 30 years until her death.

Screen legend Elizabeth Taylor’s renowned collection of jewellery, art, clothing and memorabilia will be sold at a series of auctions, auction house Christie’s announced on Saturday.
“Christie’s will be selling the historic collection of Elizabeth Taylor,” Christie’s said in a statement.
