A 100-year-old British man has become the world’s oldest marathon runner after finishing a race in Canada.
Indian-born Fauja Singh, from east London, ran the Toronto Waterfront Marathon in eight hours, 25 minutes and 16 seconds – finshing in 3,850th place, ahead of five other competitors.

Italian bride Elena De Angelis’ wedding dress has entered the world record books for having the world’s longest veil, measuring an astounding 1.8 miles (3 kilometres).
About 600 people were required to carry the veil as it stretched down the road behind the bride, who married Ferdinand Pucci.

Much to the delight of chocoholics everywhere, the World’s Finest Chocolate company has made the Guinness World Record books with a chocolate bar weighing a massive 12,000 pounds, measuring 3 feet high and 21 feet long.
The monster bar has outweighed the previous record-breaking chocolate bar by a tonne.

A Manhattan restaurant’s $69 hot dog has been declared the world’s most expensive hot dog by the Guinness World Records.
Restaurant Serendipity 3, which also holds the record for the world’s most expensive ice-cream sundae at $1,000 and the largest hot chocolate at four gallons (15 litres), set its latest record on Friday – National Hot Dog Day in the US.
