Taylor Swift received the top honour at the 46th Academy of Country Music Awards held at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on Sunday night, winning the entertainer of the year award.
The 21-year-old songstress beat the likes of Keith Urban, Brad Paisley, and even the night’s overall winner, Miranda Lambert, to take home the coveted award.

Country trio Lady Antebellum led the winner’s pack at this year’s Grammy Awards, winning a total of five awards, including song of the year and record of the year for their hit Need You Now, at Sunday night’s awards ceremony in Los Angeles.
In what was a night full of surprises, rapper Eminem, who had the most Grammy nominations leading into the biggest night on the music calendar, walked away with just two awards from 10 nominations.

Rapper Eminem is leading the charge of nominees for the 2011 Grammy Awards, with 10 nominations.
The 38-year-old has been nominated for all of the major awards, including Album Of The Year for Recovery, which has already sold more than four million copies worldwide, and both Song Of The Year and Record Of The Year for Love The Way You Lie, which features Rihanna.
