The Porsche 918 Spyder hybrid supercar has become the world’s most expensive hybrid after its German maker announced it is taking orders for the plug-in hybrid at a whopping $845,000 a pop in the US – excluding destination and handling charges.
The supercar, which was first unveiled at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show, can go from 0-60mph (97kph) in 3.2 seconds, with a top speed of 199mph (320kph).
