New York’s Serendipity 3 restaurant has cooked up the world’s most expensive burger at $295, according to Guinness World Records.
Le Burger Extravagant features a tantalising array of expensive ingredients…
The patty is made with Japanese Wagyu beef infused with a 10-herb white truffle butter and is topped with famed James Montgomery cheddar cheese, shaved black truffles and a fried quail egg.
All these ingredients are sandwiched in a campagna roll spread with white truffle butter, dusted with gold and topped off with a blini, crème fraîche and caviar.
And, as a final touch, the world’s most expensive burger is served with a solid gold “Fleur de Lis” toothpick encrusted with diamonds, designed by world-renowned jeweller Euphoria New York.
All proceeds from the sale of the burger will go to the Bowery Mission, which serves the homeless and hungry in New York.
Serendipity 3’s world’s most expensive burger joins the ranks of its $1000 sundae and $69 hot dog.
